Obsolete kit GB?

Thanks for clarifying that subjects other than aircraft are acceptable.

I have been looking at old ship kits, especially Lindberg kits - some of the ones now in their catalog were Pyro's.

I remember back in the 1960's drooling over Lindberg's catalog, especially the Monitor and Merrimack dual kit (CSS Virginia, and USS monitor). It is available now, although there seems to be some confusion over whose molds they are (Pyro or Lindberg).

Anyway a couple of US Civil War ironclads would be nice subjects.

Woohoo! :yahoo:

Once more unto the breach, dear friends, once more;

Or close the wall up with our obsolete kits.

Are we still in with a shout, Mish?

Host and co-host?

Provisional date 14th September 2013 to 15th December 2013

Yup.....the kits will be obsolete by then alright .... :analintruder:

just joking ....good to see a date up for this one ..gives time to sort out some good old kits ...even maybe magazines that featured the kits when new to give a bit of background to the build ...even reviews..probably saying that we thought we would never see one of "these" in kit form.. :elephant:

Regards Trevor ... :D
