1/32 Hellcat 166/W: JX701, HMS Indomitable 1945

I finally finished this model, which is built from the Hasegawa fuselage and Trumpeter wings, as the Trumpeter fuselage is too bulbous. I used WEM paints and pastels for the weathering.

The aircraft was flown by Dutch FAA pilot Geradus Greve and a couple of photos of the aircraft can be found in Nico Geldhof's Dutchies in the Fleet Air Arm.

That looks great Ian, well done mate!

As you know I`m doing the same project myself but it is weird that you`ve picked the same aircraft to depict too, which I like because of its large fuselage mounted BPF roundel! I just hope that mine turns out half as good,

That's a nice clean build - it looks good in those colours.
