SeaVenom
What a shame and I was looking forward to their Beaufighter and a few others. Still they gave it their best shot. That's all they can do.

tomprobert
No great surprise, just another pipe dream company Can't help but feel that's a little harsh when you look into the background to the 'failure' of Wing XL's venture. Also, when you consider the fact we now have an injection molded B-25, an imminent B-17 and Meteor, all in 1/32nd scale under the HK Models brand (with a Lancaster in the pipeline too) I think we have a lot to thank them for. lufbramatt
Having worked with several chinese tooling companies in my day job, the "evil chinese" attitude expressed on here and other forums doesn't sit right with me. Every one I have dealt with has been very professional and helpful. Having read the response from what is now HK Models, I'm much more inclined to beleive their version of events that Martin's. at the end of the day he comissioned a very expensive set of moulds without paying for them and expected ownership of the tools at the end on extended credit, and wanted to pay the toolmakers back from the profits of the first set of model releases. Business doesn't work like that. Edited July 4, 2012 by lufbramatt
