lancfan
My first finished Sherman. Based on a rather poor picture of one of a number of war-weary Shermans converted into Kangeroos in the field by the British Army in Italy. Some guesswork was neccessary and no marking are visible in the picture, the caption held no unit details either so nothing could be discovered as to what markings it would have carried. The build thread is here- http://www.britmodeller.com/forums/index.p...topic=234919245 The kit is the faithful old 1/76 scale Airfix Sherman I, it was converted into a British Kangeroo variant and painted in Revell Aqua acrylics. The figure was converted from a stretcher bearer figure from the Airfix RAF emergency Set, rather than make the figure too generic I left the service 'chip bag' side cap in place rather than changing the head for one with a beret.
