The first version that will be released will be the A-6A Vietnam War era Intruder. After that will be the A-6E upgraded version and then finally the definitive A-6E TRAM variant used in Desert Storm. The official release dates are still up in the air but we should expect to see the A-6A around January 2013 followed by the A-6E in March 2013 and possibly June 2013 for the A-6E TRAM. http://ipmsphilippines.com/test-shots/special-announcement-trumpeter-132-a-6-intruder-kit-status/]I hate the braille scale... FIGHTS ON
looks good, looks big ! No doubt waiting for the value of the UK pound to plummet even more before trying to buy one..... This is THE kit I've been waiting for (A-6E), but brave of trumpeter to go for a single piece canopy (aft section). (link from post #16). I was pretty sure canopy had more pronounced "M" shape in profile, when viewed from ahead? As a UK resident my only "up close" exposure to these beasts was a school boy visit to the JFK in '83 when she was trialing the all Grumman Air Wing on a visit to Portsmouth. (Sadly this was just ahead of their disastrous strikes against Syrian Air Defenses over the Lebanon resulting in the loss of an A-6 & it's pilot).
