IJN submarine I-19

Recommended Posts

Wow, that`s nice! Really like the wood effect on the deck there: How did you achieve that!?!?!?

& a nice, simple display to finish things off, too!

Kudos to you, Sir......

I used an additional set of detailing from the AFV-Club, it was a deck-sticker.

However, it was very bright as fresh pine, had it painted and do light weathering

That looks superb, Danila - excellent finish and great display.

Are those aerial wires included in the kit - or are they on the extra AFV set ???

I'll try and pick one from Club-TM next time I am in Moscow.....

Hello Ken.

All aerial wires home-made from fine nylon thread, wire and superglue.

I've done this:

Just fantastic - and thanks for the clear explanation of the rigging technique, your results are fantastic and I have a Russian destroyer which needs something similar.

I agree with Mike that the work is simply first class. The rigging is awesome. The I-19 is a very nice subject as it's Glen floatplane was the only aircraft to bomb the continental US during WW2; it just started a forest fire in Oregon.

Dear colleagues, thank you very much for the nice comments.

Top notch....where did you reference the rigging? There's a lot of it.

Adam

The basis for rigging I used these pictures:
