Plasticbutcher
Hi All, Here's my latest build. It's the 1/32 Tamyia Spitfire XVI, incredible kit, it really is. I used Barracudacast cockpit door, threaded wheels and rocker covers. Painted with Xtracolour E.D.S.G. and Lifecolor M.S.G. and the decals are from AllyCat. Thanks for looking and hope you like her. Gerry The last shot was taken at the Irish Model Soldier Society annual show over the weekend where she earned a silver medal.

Enzo the Magnificent
Superb! The scheme is very familiar as I did the same one in 1/48 scale for the Spitfire STGB last year. Edit: and can I just point out that the aircraft is actually a late build Spitfire IXe, not a XVI. Edited May 14, 2012 by Enzo Matrix

Vlamgat9
I love this scheme! Am doing it in 1/48 although alas mine will look pretty amateur compared to this beauty....
Enzo the Magnificent
Have I got the correct wing then for a IXe? Yes. The bubbletop IXe and XVIe were pretty much identical externally. Edited May 15, 2012 by Enzo Matrix
Plasticbutcher
Yes. The bubbletop IXe and XVIe were pretty much identical externally. I didn't know that which opens up an load of modelling possibilities for me in 1/48, now back to the research!!!! Thanks for that and to everyone for their comments.
