PaulR
Hi all, I'm making a Sea Gladiator for the Malta GB. I've got light slate greyfor the camo scheme, but also need the dark slate grey. I'm trying hard to economise at the moment, so would light slate grey with a drop of black give a reasonable approximation of that colour, or is it a bit more complex than that? Yours, slightly broke, Paul
Robert Stuart
You might do better adding a little white to Dark Green (if you have any) If anybody questions your colours, mention scale effect and sun bleaching, and ask how they'd improve on your solution. Nick Millman
It is a bit more complex than that - I'll spare you the details. But if you have to go that route then FWIW I think you might be better off adding a dark grey rather than black (or a light grey to the Dark Green). Yours, slightly broke, Paul I'm going to use Model Master 34096 ("Dark Green (B-52)") since I've seen that FS number a couple of times as a decent approximation.
