Julien
Excellent job, shows what can be done with these old kits. I have always said its not the kit its the modeller. Julien
AndyC
Thanks all, much appreciated. You'll be glad to hear that it won gold at Newbury and won our Club Shield at Salisbury last night! Chuffed to bits Well deserved if you ask me!
Ian Shumsky
And a worthy Gold Medal winner it was! Great build of an old kit, a pleasure to see in the flesh. Cheers, Ian
Paveshadow
Thanks all, much appreciated. You'll be glad to hear that it won gold at Newbury I didn't realise this was yours or I'd have tried to find you. In any case, I'm glad to say I got the opportunity to gawp at this for about 15 minutes solid in the competition room, and found it hard to take myself away. A great model. Just a shame that photos can never really do it justice. The gold was definitely well deserved. James
philp
Got to say I love the twin .303s. Are those the kit guns? Got this in the stash but also need some twins for a SAS Jeep.
seadog
Missed this earlier. You certainly picked up some detail I skimped on on mine! Beautiful! F
Flemming
Exellent! I have built this kit ages ago but nothing like this. The more I look the more improvements I see! Love the fine added detaling on the various parts all around and all the antennas and wiring to and from the central mast. But alos the lifeboat with oars and so on. Exellent. I really think you should make a proper wooden plate with brass mounting on the keel to replace the awful plastic Airfix issue thingies.
