Agree with everyone above. The GB was a great way to honour one of the finest looking aircraft types of WWII. I too learnt much from fellow GBers and hope to use these lessons in upcoming builds as I attempt to complete my 190 collection. All I have left to do is an A-5 and an F-8 in order to get all major marks completed, and these will hopefully be done by the end of the year. Once again, thanks heaps to everyone who contributed, and bring on the 109 GB, which surely will match this GB for participants and variety.

Really cant add anything that hasnt been said already above so will just have to repeat it - thanks Steve / Rowan for the time you have put into organising and running this build and everyone who has given me help / encouragement along the way - it really has been great fun - just wish it was on for a few more months! :)

Many thanks for the kind words guys. It means a lot.

Well, today is the last day of the GB and the poll will close this evening.

Can I just remind everyone that hasn't sent their address to Rowan to do so along with their choice of Topshots book from Kagero.

Speak to you all tonight.

Steve

Time please gents, please :)

Ok, first of all many, many thanks to all those who took part in this GB and who made it such a pleasure to run.

The standard of builds was simply magnificent and I will certainly be dipping into here many times in the future as a reference for future 190 builds.

Secondly, a hearty congratulations to Nick for a stunning build. Well done.

I hope to see as many of you as possible in the Bf109 GB later in the year, which if its half as good as this will be great fun.

I will organise the sorting out of prizes in the next day or so.

So please take a bow as you all deserve it.

Goodbye for now,

Steve

P.s. I will close this now so any future posts are to be made in the chat section.
