Smiffy
Went about 50% too much on weathering, but it'll do: Ohh, I dunno. I think the weathering looks pretty good, myself. With a little work, some of these old kits scrub up quite nicely, don't they. Lovely job.

Will Vale
Very nice, it's definitely got the AT-AT presence. I like the photographs a lot too, really crisp.

Anthony Kesterton
Very nice paint job in this kit - just read your other post about finding the old build and deciding to paint it. Did you every manage to remove the old paint on the snowspeeders? Also - I would be very interested in how you took the photos - they came out very nicely. regards anthony
Alan Kelley
I think the weathering looks sot on- this would great in a dio- looking forward to seeing that
dr_gn
Thanks guys. I got most of the paint off the Snowspeeders using Mr.Muscle oven cleaner in the end, but it was a struggle. It took some time. The photos were nothing special - I wanted just sky as background, so (where I live) needed a high surface, shot from a low viewpoint. I covered the car roof in a white cloth and put the model on that. Obviously the sky came out overexposed, but there you go. Cheers.

Mike
Lovely job - I've got one of these in the workshop loft, which I dismantled for moving 10-12 years ago and never put back together. Must dig it out & fix it up again. I think all my guns bit the dust over the years due to my careless handling
