Redboost
Hello, this is the first Hauler injection molded aircraft kit. I built the very first test shot without having at hand the etched parts and decals that are not yet available (the gun sight came from spare box). Therefore I built a "generic" example as found after the war. The kit will be on sale in May. Paolo6691
This is a kit I will definitely get. Your build is of a very high standard, as usual from the previous models you posted on this website, I have a question, does the kit come with the stand? Do you have any information if a version with the launch tower is planned? Cheers Paolo
Redboost
Hi Paolo, The stand comes with the kit, but the launcher is not in the pipeline at the moment. Cheers Libor
Duncan B
When I saw the title I thought it would be small but that is tiny! Do you have a molecular sized nozzle on your air brush?

Redboost
Thanks for looking chaps! The mottling wasn't actually a big deal, it was done with regular Iwata stuff. Actually, it could be done finer and cleaner, but I rushed before my vacation leave. Cheers Libor

horrido3945
Hello This is very exciting as WWII German Luft 46 subjects (and their US and Soviet derivatives) are a favorite subject. Look forward to seeing more injection-molded kits from your company. By the way, do you know whatever happend to the molds from HUMA Models? They had many good kits (they weren't the best quality, though) of exotic Lufwaffe sunjects including many Luft 46 aircraft. I was told that the molds were sold to a Czech kit maker and were going to tp be upgraded and re-issued, but HUMA kits have been off the shelves for many years. ANY ideas on what happened to the HUMA kits/molds? Thanks from Canada. Michael
Redboost
Hello Michael, actually the company is it not mine, but it's owned by my fellow. As far as I know there is another similar subject in the pipeline, so hopefully you will enjoy it too. At the moment I have no information about the fate of the Huma moulds, anyway I can try to investigate and let ya know. Cheers Libor
Paolo6691
Just back from Telford Wonderful little kit, Now I need to get very fine pointed tweezers and a magnifying glass to build and paint it!
bil
Hi Michael, If you're still after Huma kits, Hannants here in the UK have them listed, with most in stock: http://www.hannants.co.uk/search/index.php?adv=1&product_category_id=&product_division_id=&manufacturer_id=335781&product_type_id=&code=&scale_id=&keyword_search=&setPerPage=50&sort=0&search_direction=0&save_search_name=&save_search= You may wish to check p&p to Canada however! Shalako
Hi Libor. Very nice work mate. Can you tell us a little bit more on how you have achieved the "snake" paint effect on your model? For example, the thickness ratio of the paint, the air compressor pressure. Cheers Sernak
Redboost
Thanks Sernak! The thin lines are done with Gunze-Sanygo Acrylics thinned 30%paint / 70% thinner and sprayed at low pressure. However, can't say exactly the compressor pressure as my Iwatas are equipped with Micro Control Valves (integral on HP-BH or external on Custom Micron) and therefore the pressure tuning is done directly in the airbrush (ballpark value slightly below 1 bar).
