Spitfires Forever
ok i have a small change of plan, err when i say small i mean, 1/48 scale!i have just bought a 1/48 revell liberator D from pielstick - cheers Nick! so to revisit my question, what do i need for this decals, ?belcher bits conversion? anything else these are the decals im thinking of - http://www.aviaeology.com/aod48001.html does anyone know where i can get the belcher bits conversion form the UK? Good choice mate, go with the Aviolgy decals for the pre 1944 D model, with the exceptions of radios the aircraft was straight from Willow Grove, the Canadians didn't bother with seat belt/harness changes with the early D's. Why they went to the .303's I don't know because they would have easier access to American parts, bullets, etc. than from GB. You can use the Eduard interior parts if you like but no need for MAD or radar pods, search lights (late 1943 and not installed on all B-24's so you can save some money on aftermarket parts. Good luck with your build! Cheers
