coastal command colors?

well im going to do the halifax in costal comand colors

but what are they?

white undersides, but what would the top sides be

I believe they should be dark slate grey/extra dark sea grey as per temperate sea scheme. Codes are some sort of grey but I can't remember what.

IIRC the white should be gloss underside with matt on the sides with the division line being at 60%.

Depends on the timeline: the initial scheme was with extra dark sea grey and dark slate grey over white, but later the upper surfaces changed to extra dark sea grey only. Codes were light slate grey.

There was also a distinction between matt white sides and gloss white u/s, with the white carried over the leading edge of the wings. EDSG only from Feb 1943, pending repaint.

Some aircraft retained the TSS scheme well into 1944, so which aircraft are you doing? This was covered in the previouos posting.
