They are just pods,no Guns fitted if you wish to depict them with Guns fitted there would be a link chute showing in the bottom fairing and the wooden "Nipple" in the barrel opening would not be there (see the AV8A pictures) if the gun was loaded on the ground the little Flap held by two screws on the bottom centre fairing (directly underneath the shark fin) would be open and the gun cable dangling. the guns were plugged in just before flight.
