Bri48
Hi all, Built straight from the box using Revell enamels. I don't know if special hobby are still around nowadays, but this kit, a mixture of plastic and resin was really state of the art and at a price of around £19 was well worth the money. AndyC
Very nice indeed - I saw one at a show for about £15 but declined - by the looks of this I should have bought it. Great job.

Bri48
Thank you one and all for the kind comments. I have also the 1/32 scale version to build, which was made by the same company (Special Hobby) and is equally as good in terms of quality as the 1/48. Happy Easter Everyone. omegaman
That is brilliant, the weathering is spot on in my opinion. I think thi has tempted me to take the plunge! I am thinking of doing a neil armstrong collection including a panther, a stearman, gemini, apollo, lunar module and the X15 in 1/48. How was the kit to put together, any gotchas? Hi, the kit is excellent quality and goes together really well. As always though the resin, well for me anyway, is the most time consuming and difficult. Patience is required.
