I`ve just received this today from Seaforth ,and after a quick shuffty I think its worth every penny.It has colour drawings of all the major DKM warships at various stages of their lives ,even some destroyers are included . Someone has started to knock it on one of the US naval sites ,so it must be good!!

If you`re into German WW2 warships my advice is buy it!!

Good link Phil, thanks for that, I'll be getting one though I'm looking forward to the second volume. I WILL build a ship one day, I will...but in the meantime I shall get everything prepared!

After delving into this book further ,I counted no less than 8 different colour schemes applied to the Bismarck during his short life ,very useful for the forthcoming Trumpy 200th kit.Its certainly got my brain box working overtime.

The real failing of the book is that it fails to identify any of the colours in any meaningful way, so that the reader can only speculate as to the colours in the very nice illustrations.

Argeed ,John ,the failure to indentify the colours is a draw back .That leaves us to do a bit of guess-work ,Otherwise the book IMO is very useful.
