Next Hasegawa Creator Works Plane announced

After the kits of the Space Wolf SW190 from Captain Harlock and the Santa Cruz Seaplane from The Princess And The Pilot the next in the Creator Works series is a JASDF forward-swept wing/canard jet fighter with thrust vectoring nozzle from the Ace Combat:Assault Horizon video game. I don't know what it's called because it's all in Japanese but it's a looker!

Want several myself but doubt I can afford it!

that's very interesting. But I'm puzzled about some design aspects. Why the dorsal intake and normal intakes? Do the normal intakes provide airflow when the dorsal intake is masked by the nose during tight turns?

And there are weapons bays on the lower surfaces which have stealth-type doors, but all stealthiness in compromised by that humungous missile load under the wings!

I hate to tell you this but...........its not real!

Don't forget... in game and movie aircraft design, there's an entirely different science of coolodynamics at work...

More intakes, more canards and moving surfaces (especially drooping wingtips), forward sweep... these are always better! Plus many, many weapons!

bestest,

M.

Julien, it's not???Oh great, here I thought the Japanese gave up on the F-35 program and built their own Fifth Gen Fighter.

Gotta admit that kit looks kinda cool though!

Cheers,

Found out that it's called the ASF-X Shinden II via naoto over at Starship Modeler and he posted a link to a book on the plane too. http://ga.sbcr.jp/mgapr/019603/
