1404 flt and 3 GTS albemarles

Hi All,

Finally just got myself an albemarle, now just need to find some details on the MET flight ones of 1404flt and the glider tugs of 3 GTS, to decide which one to do whilst I wait for postie to bring it across the pond.

Any links to photos/drawings etc welcome.

It's been a good week for me as I also finally got a 1/32 revell/lodela beaufighter TFX with the vac & etch, (option for this is decided a 404 Sqn machine).

Nothing in my references for Albemarles with those units other than the serial for a 1404 Flight example was P1436 and for 3GTS LV621.

For the Beaufighter I recommend the Aviaeology set for 404 Squadron Beaufighters. I have the 1/72 set but it is available in 1/32 - the level of research that has gone into the set is shown by there being more notes on the colours, markings and details of each option than I can take in at one sitting!

Hi Ross,

Many thanks for the replies.

I haven't forgotten the DO-217K , but haven't found the paperwork yet, I am getting ready to move later in the year so it may turn up in the tidy up, I will let you know.
