Hi,

When I built my HB Tonka (http://www.britmodeller.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=78250&hl=) I did a search on Hannants web site, it came back with lots of bits that you've mentioned, seats, engine nozzles etc.

The bits you need for the underside are FLIR and LRTMS (you dont need any thing else as ZA600 is a GR4 not a 4A). As for the RAPTOR it's not a pod 41 fly with much, so try a lightning 3 (LIII) pod with Brimstone and PW4 or may be a couple of EPW2 (enhanced Paveway 2) these can be built using any UK PW2 it's just a couple of add ons. Dont forget to fit the center line pylon, and if you have the air brakes open 6oo's are different colours , one white one dark grey. Enjoy the build looking forward to see how it goes, especially with the masks. :D

Hi Mark,

Ill be interested to see how this turns out because I fancy this bird in 1/32, Its a fantastic colour scheme

As far as the paragon flaps go, Unless you are depicting the aircraft in flight, I wouldn't bother as when sat on the ground, where other aircraft such as the F15, Hawk etc, have control surfaces that bleed down (or in the case of the Typhoon, Up ) as hydraulic pressure drops, the Tornados don't. i.e you will rarely see a Tornado on the ground with flaps deployed unless under maintenance.

Yes, I made this "mistake!" with my GR4, with the addition of a crew, anything is allowed.

Here you go Mark for the chin sensor pods:

http://www.relishmodels.co.uk/relish-resin...-irls-pods.html

For the under cartridge bays I got the Aries ones, meant for HB kit, they look like they'll fit the italeri kit pretty well too.

If the bays got then the replacement white metal gear should fit too, it's designed for HB kit but the bays replace the HB bays so logic says....

For burner cans you're best to try and get some paragon ones as the aries ones are probably undersized! There's some on evilbay at the moment!

I'll let someone whose built one comment on seats, although for the money the pavla ones look good.

Good luck getting one this year!! Quite a lengthy wait if you order off of their website. Try Ebay or wait till the Nationals.

wanted to check it was acurate for a gr4 first

Mark,

It's a GR.1 cockpit but can be updated to GR.4 standard with relative ease - through addition of the central MFD screen in the front, adjustments to the rear cockpit LCD display boxes, etc.
