Ad2408
Hi All Currently building the Dragon 1/72 Churchill MKIV, unfortunately Dragon dont seem to have researched the actual tank very well, they have it as a MKIV where it is actually a NA75 The main difference (as far as I know) being that the 6pdr was replaced by a 75mm gun from a damaged sherman, they used the complete mantlet from the sherman so this is proving to be an interesting conversion as I haven't attempted anything like this before. Unfortunately, I discovered this error after I had already fitted the gun Anyway gun now removed and replaced with Sherman manlet and gun, I'll post some pictures later in the work in progress section.... And on to my question, in 1 of the two pictures I have of Castlerobin IV there is something attached to the rear turret stowage bin, what is it? Thanks in advance Adam

Thanks in advance Adam Looks like an ammunition box to me: I seem to see a recess at the end for carrying handles and pressed strengthening ribs across the back. But, TBH, I don't know. Have you seen the horse's mouth story of how the NA75 came into being? First instalment here: http://northirishhorse.net/articles/na75/1.html
Ad2408
Hi Thanks for the quick response, I think you could be right, presume it would just be riveted/bolted to the stowage bin? Also thanks for the link to the NA75 article, makes for fascinating reading, i've been using the photos to modify the turret in the same way as the real thing
