Paul J
Here are the remaining pics of my Wessex HC2. It depicts XV724/BS of 18 Squadron in 1970 and the one I had a ride at low level over the German countryside in while on an ATC camp at Bruggen. The Wesex had come over from Gutersloh by the way. Python66
You've done a really great job on your Wessex. It’s beautiful. I love your camo ! My next Wessex will be painted in a camo pattern. What did you use for the wire ? I used fishing wire. Too bad you don't live nearby or we could have pictured ours together

ExRAF
It's impossible to have too many Walters. I think it's also nice to have a model relating to a personal event. Great finish and nice blade droop.
AndyC
I followed your build thread and am impressed by the result. Great work on a subject that until I read your build thread I knew little about. Andy
jonbru1
Brings back fond memories, Paul. Flew low level in a Wessex on CCF (RAF) camp at Gütersloh in 1973. Very nicely built.

Paul J
What did you use for the wire ? I used fishing wire.Too bad you don't live nearby or we could have pictured ours together Thanks All. Hi, Python, The wires were from the elasticated thread that Aeroclub do. A bit fiddly trying to get one end stuck firmly before stretching to fix the other end though but win in the end. the excess was then trimmed with a very new blade! All I need do now is decide what to do with the Choctaw remains and the HU5 fuselage! Maybe a sort of hybrid H-34 or rework the windows to the smaller one! Or a What if...?
