Phil Reeder
Zvesda are to be congratulated on having the courage to do a 350th kit of the first all-big gun Battleship ,and whats more they have made an excellent job of it.The fit of the parts was good ,and it went together like a dream.I made a little sailing boat to go alongside to give a sense of size of the ship ,and from photos of the period there always seemed to be pleasure craft nearby. Thanks to everybody for the encouragement during my build . Cheers Phil

Martian
I think thats one of your best! I really do find folling your threads entertaining. The only problem is they leave me wishing I had more time to build ships as well as aircraft. Martin
Basosz
Its a table cloth !! No tomato ketchup stains on it ,I`ve just washed it!! Cheers Phil That is a very nice cloth. We have the same one. How do you find the quality? The ship is very cool too by the way. It looks like there are a few figures on the Dreadnought. Is this correct? There doesn't seem to be anyone in the sailing tub though. Are you gonna place someone in there?
Greased Lightning
Fair play, she's a beauty! I love the way the yacht lends a sense of scale.

I haven`t any figures left ,they were all drafted to the Dreadnought,so until I can get some more ,the sailing boat is called "The Flying Dutchman" Cheers Phil

Alan P
Another excellent job. Zvezda seem to be taking quite an aggressive stance in the market. It'll be interesting to see what they come up with into this year. Al

I was hoping that they would do a follow-up to the Dreadnought ,but alas it doesn`t seem like it,shame!! Cheers Phil

stevehnz
Nothing short of wonderful. I'm not sure how or when but after seeing these inspiring builds I can see some 1/350 ship kits in my future, certainly a Warspite & Dreadnought & didn't I see announced a Queen Elizabeth? The hard part will be getting them anywhere near Phil's standard. Steve.
Ray S
Phil, that looks great! Thanks for showing your work, I hope mine comes out as well. I am in the process of attaching all the hatches on my deck at the moment - it is fun trying to figure out what type goes where, thank goodness for the Anatomy of the Ship book. I am looking forward to your next project. Kind regards, Ray

p-26luvr
Awe inspiring model. After looking at this model & looking at the Artbox wooden decks site, I started looking up info on The Kronprinz as a possible future project. Carl T
