Homebee
Heritage Aviation is working on a new 1/48th Westland Wessex full kit (so not only on a correction or upgrade set for the soon reissued Revell kit). A glimpse at this project: http://www.heritagea...st-news-2-w.asp V.P. Edited November 1, 2014 by Homebee
chrismac60
I may be wrong but I think these are parts for the full kit due this year, not an update or correction set Chris

bootneck
Hi Ian, sorry to go over this again but there still seems to be responses quoting 'correction parts' etc. Could you please clarify these parts of your (complete) kit will not fit the Revell kit, mainly due to Revell kit being undersize? And, the big question, do you have a planned release date? Best Wishes Mike

Wafu
Hi Ian If you are refering to the jammer installed on the Port side hard point then I have some pic's of the jammer installed to the Royal Flight Wessex and a few installed to the Wessex V. The cabin door is of two parts split vertically with the forward one having a window mounted in the top. It has a single skin with ribs to add strength and is bolted together. The door is mounted on runners on the top and has a J shaped rail that mounts to the bottom of the airfraft runner. A jettison handle allows the door to be 'banged off' if required (normally done by crewmen by accident) Looking forward too the Heritage Wessex very much, at last a Wessex produced by someone who cares what it looks like. tonyot
Hello Ian, Will you just be doing the RAF HC.2 version or will you be providing a Matelot HU.5 version with different fuselage sides containing larger windows? Whatever the case I really do want one of these as I like the Wessex and your kit parts look fabulous, but what sort of price are you looking at charging for it? Homebee
Is now off to the casters. I've a lot of respect for Heritage Aviation work but still have a question: is there a market - I mean economically viable - for such a resin kit, considering the soon release of the Italeri's Wessex (family?) injected kit?
