Malcolm Shaw
Both SKP and AFV Club have announced kits of this vehicle. I think the AFV Club one may have the interior in the kit. A most welcome kit as 90% of my modelling is of British subjects. Malcolm

Malcolm Shaw
Nice to know i am not alone in modelling British, we seem to be few and far between. I`m on a Land Rover kick at the moment plus an M10 for a GB on another site. Malcolm

Malcolm Shaw
Sick to the back teeth with panzer this and panzer that. Apart from British like to do Soviet `Cold War` period tanks, especially the T64. Apart from the T64 i only want one of each version, i`ve got 3 T64`s built with 2 more waiting, and i am looking forward to the new Trumpeter kits. I have a few yanks from the Korean war period to go with my brit stuff. I like the 50`s to late 60`s era most for my Brit modelling. Korea, Suez, Malaya etc. Malcolm Edited January 14, 2012 by Malcolm Shaw

Malcolm Shaw
Would suggest you wait for the Trumpeter kits. The SKIF kits are alright for general size and shape but the small detail like hatches, lights etc is very poor. I buy cheap DML/Dragon T72 kits and use all the detail parts on the T64 kits. One conversion i am planning is the one in my avatar. Very unusual, i think. Malcolm

Malcolm Shaw
No, not a DT tank. It was used during the Chernobyl disaster. It is a lead lined superstructure. It was left there as it had become too `hot` to remove. Other photos show the standard turret bin attached to the rear over some sort of hatch, with normal entry hatches in the roof. Going by the No5 on the roof i assume there may have been more of these made. I first came across this in a russian magazine. I`m going to use a SKIF model to do this one, should look suitably different when i get round to it.
