SaintsPhil
Afternoon all, Some of you may have seen my build of the Airfix Harrier GR7/9, converted to an AV8B Night Attack. http://www.britmodeller.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=80776 I finally got round to taking some pics: After posting the pics I've noticed a few touch ups required! Plus I've forgotten the det cord decal on the canopy!! So maybe it's not quite RFI just yet... Comments and criticsm more than welcome, on the model and my photography as I'm looking to improve both!! Phil
Dave Fleming
I've said my piece on the model (It's still a cracker!) but regarding the photos - I think you need more/stronger or less directional light. One option is to make a big light box from a cardboard box, some tissue paper and a couple of flash guns - instructions here: http://strobist.blogspot.com/2006/07/how-t...oto-studio.html Edited January 13, 2012 by Dave Fleming
SaintsPhil
Thanks Dave, I took the photos in my Maplins Photo studio (very similar to the box in the link, could have save my self £35 if I'd seen that first though!!). I wonder if the lights aren't very good, or alternatively I was playing about with Manual mode on the camera, which has a super macro setting. It seems to take much darker pictures, so maybe I need to play with light level settings.... Phil
