Sukhoi Su-34 Fullback 1/48th (Conversion)

Recommended Posts

Is it true that the Su-34 has a toilet on-board? I read that somewhere and it sounded crazy, but looking at your cockpit it seems like there might be room behind the rear access door. OMG, no pun intended in that last line! Arghhh...

Cheers,

Bill

The whole 'on-board toilet' myth has now been de-bunked.

The crew are provided with a pee bottle - but no sit down toilet alas.

See post #13 on this thread for a picture of the bottle.

Wow.

Just wow.

This is stunning. Such clever techniques, and many of them really quite simple. But flawlessly executed.

Best build I have ever seen.

Not have sophisticated equipment and tools I have developed many techniques and tricks that today result in works such as this. The secret is in the determination and never giving up. Thank you for appreciating.

OK, I remembered where I read that, it was in Yefim Gordon's Su-27 book, which has subsequently been quoted by Wikipedia. Sounds like Sukhoi's publicity stunt has gone viral! I think Paulo should honor this stunt by adding a port-a-potty to his Fullback.

Cheers,

Bill

Oh, while we're on the subject of the Su-34, I'm almost afraid to ask if the Italeri 1:72 kit (which I have in my stash) is a good rendition or not. Rather than hi-jack this thread, if anyone knows of a good on-line review for that kit they can point me to it with a PM. Thanks.
