MODeller
Hi All, I have been more of a lurker of late due to health issues so have posted very little although the modelling continued. I now have this diorama finished bar some subtle weathering, the Hasegawa 1/350 Soya on a homemade base. It has taken a few weeks but would have stayed on the "shelf of doom" had it not been for a KUTA from my friend Carl (P-26luvr), thanks for that Carl as it turned into a most enjoyable project. It is quite amazing just how much detail Hasegawa have crammed into such a tiny model and the etched fret includes Huskies and Penguins as well as crew figures, see if you can spot them! Hope you like it and await your comments, it will be on show at Yeovilton probably on the Wallingford stand if not the competition. MODeller
Thanks for the kind comments, I should have added that the paints used were Revell Aqua and Humbrol Acrylics and I have used Vallejo Water Effects for the first time, being most impressed with the end result although it took 3 days to dry out .
