Bandwagon 106
That kit is a real gem, I made an early release in 1997 CAG markings for VF-31-the rainbow tail burst My tomcat's still u/s at the moment!, I can't decide what to do yet! theplasticsurgeon
This cat has launched into a slow holding pattern. Tomorrow I intend to buy the overall paint to use. On Sunday I'm in an archery tournament, so early progress will probably be slow.

theplasticsurgeon
So far it's all been parts preparation with this one. Various cockpit bits painted, but today I used my airbrush on it. As with any of my VG models I painted the wings and glove areas Now I can start putting it together.
theplasticsurgeon
A bit more work this week to assemble the fuselage nose and centre sections: I'm still delaying with seats - well how to fit ejection handles. And last night I installed the nose and engine area.

theplasticsurgeon
I never managd to brush paint white properly.... any special trick you're using? Special trick - Hmmm 1, The smallest drop of blue paint possible mixed into a fresh tin of Humbrol22 enamel. Reckoned to stop yellowing - I'll let you know in 5 years time. Why don't Humbrol do this at the factory? 2, This stuff needs two coats to cover properly.
