Phil Reeder
The model is now completed ,and I thoroughly enjoyed building the Academy kit .I can highly recommend this kit ,to a novice warship builder or to a more experienced one .It doesn`t look so good in the box ,but when you start to build it, it comes as a pleasent surprise just how good it is.Well thats another one done ,only 47 more to go!! Moofles
That is just so good, how on earth did you get such a realistic water effect.
Richard G
Phil, that just looks so good. The less cluttered look of the pre-war Warspite together with the light gray paintwork really show her off to her advantage. Richard

Phil Reeder
After the photos of the Warspite appeared on the Gallery in Modelwarships.com, a well-known expert posted that I had got the order of colours on the stripes on "B" turret wrong, red should have been the foremost, leading me to paint the boats the incorrect colour-red.This was backed up by someone else posting a still from a pre-war film showing that red was the leading colour.Anyway that lead me to repaint the colours ,and this is the revised model.
