Foghorn Leghorn
Having seen Hervé's lovely Tamiya Dingo I wondered about building one myself. In the dim distant past I remember someone, somewhere, saying that the Tamiya kit is innacurate and should be avoided, now that the Miniart kit is out. Does anyone know what the Tamiya Dingo problems are? TIA Neil

TIA Neil I hear the dimentions are dodgy and the detail lacking, incorrect wheels/tyres, why bother with it when the miniart job sounds good otb
Deon
Honestly, I struggled with the Miniart kit, detail was great but I struggled to get everything lined up and true. Fancy trying to kit bash the two? My Tamiya Dingo stalled when the Miniart one arrived, but I look forwards to doing a little work to bring the Tamiya one up to scratch rather than build another MA one. Foghorn Leghorn
why bother with it when the miniart job sounds good otb Price and complexity. I actually had the Miniart kit and sold it off, too many parts for my liking. Granted I'm swimming against the tide here, but I don't want to mess about with that much detail, hence why I'm mulling over the Tamiya kit and tarting it up to a level I'm happy with. I have to say though, if anyone's considering the Miniart kit, yes it's expensive but you get a hell of a lot in there and it is worth the money. Yeah I know what Deon is saying, some East European kits have hulls and chassis made up of many panels instead of one piece moldings, you need an engineers square, and a few shims, I quite like the challenge, I have'nt had a go at any miniart kits yet, a few things have caught my eye and they do some good figures
