spike7451
Looks very nice, great finish Thanks,it was done with Revell Acrylics for the top gray, that went on very well indeed compared to the Humbrol Acrylic light gray I used underside, both brushed on.The Revell gave a very smooth finish whereas the Humbrol showed up the brush strokes. The green was hand mixed & the was was just a heavily thinned black was, applied with a bit of bog roll & wiped off.. The Revell Aqua acryllics are pretty amazing for brush-painting purposes! I find the Humbrol equivalents work better thinned with a tiny dash of tap water. Lovely Spit anyway! Spitfire31
Very nice Spitfire there! Good painting and weathering. I'm a bit surprised by the way the ailerons are positioned, though. Both of them seem to be deflected down? That would be accurate on a Bf 109 with fully dropped flaps, as the ailerons were mechanically interconnected with the flaps at the end of their travel. But I never heard of something like that on a Spitfire… /Joachim

Spitfire31
I was following the instructions,I don't know a great deal about the Spitfire... On the Spitfire, as on any other airplane equipped with ailerons, while one aileron goes up, the other one goes down… ;-)Merry Christmas! /Joachim
