F-32
I really wish I'd had a better camera than my Canon Sure Shot Mega Zoom! And looking at the background of these pics I wish I'd taken more shots, I missed so much in those days...................bugger! Anyway, for those not lucky enough to be there (or born!) here are a few of the better attempts. ExRAF
They might not be top quality shots, but still very nice to see! There were some interesting types featured.

Colin W
Pure nostalgia. All those types and nationalities. Reminds why today's shows are so uninteresting. Thanks for posting. Colin

I've literally just found this out - the exact serial number. I went to 1992 as well as a 5 year old with me parents. I now volunteer on occasional Saturdays at Tangmere and my mate works on this Phantom! Small world. https://www.tangmere-museum.org.uk/museum-aircraft/mcdonnell-douglas-phantom
Grey Beema
I was at that show. I broke my Ray-Ban Aviators whilst taking a picture of that F18. I wonder what happened to those pictures....
franky boy
Great photos, thanks for sharing. I never knew a Liberator was flying in the uk at that time. Does anyone know what happened to it? James
Paul Bradley
That's 'Diamond Lil' from the (as was) Confederate Air Force, which toured the UK that summer. In fact, if you have old Flypast magazines from that summer, they used one of my photos for their ad! This is her at Harlingen, back in 1990: This is the shot they used in Flypast: They neither credited or paid me, but at the time I was just happy to be in print.........

Mr T
I remember going. Mrs T and I went down to London and stayed with my sister in law and went on my own on the Saturday. The weather was hot and sunny and it was a great airshow. Have got my slides somewhere. Thanks for the photographs.

canberraman
What a great show that was and how good would it have been to have today's digital camera technology back then. What is also shows is what a great time the early 90s were for airshow visitors and how thin the modern events are in comparison. Mark
