hacker
MPM Bf-109V1 Heller BF 109B with True Details Cockpit Sword Bf 109D ICM Bf 109E3 with Aires cockpit here are four 1/72 Bf 109s I have been working on off and on over the past few months. The MPM kit well what can l say woof woof woof. The Heller kit was modified to a B version and rescribed and installed a True Details cockpit into it. It fit nicely. The Sword kit was a bit of a pig but not as much as the MPM kit. The ICM kit was very nice indeed and the good thing is that the Aires cockpit meant for the Tamyia kit fit in like it was made for it. I hope you like them. Criticisms allowed only if it comes with beer lol Edited December 14, 2011 by hacker

stevehnz
I Like them, didn't realise that MPM had done a V1, that is the Kestrel engined prototype, yes? Thats a nice line up. Steve.
Touvdal
Very nice job, the old heller are actually quite god kits. And welcome in the Bf 109's series build collectors club. cheers Jes

Nick Millman
Absolute gems. Very nice. Bet they look good in a line-up together - demonstrating colour scheme evolution too.
Duncan B
Having made the Sword kit I know how you have had to work on that one. I've got some more of them but I don't think they'll be built as the Avis kit is much better. The MPM V1 awaits me. Nice job on them all, well done. woody37
As Nick said, they look good on their own, even better together I bet
Maxidad
Nice builds and very interesting to see them all together for comparison.
hacker
Thanks guys was working on them off and on for a while now and just got them finished The MPM V1 awaits me. If you are going to build it and if it is the upgraded kit with the resin parts dump those parts. The floor looks like one from a G model and the side wall from an E model. Obvious to me they may have borrowed the two from somewhere else and tried to marry them together and they just do not fit to each other let alone in the plane itself. l would go for the True detail one as a replacement Edited December 14, 2011 by hacker
Steve27752
Nice to see the variations.............................The 109 with the Kestrel engine looks to be a bit of a frankenstein! Edited December 14, 2011 by Steve27752
