Paul @ Parkes682Decals
Hi All Here's my lastest,a Eurocopter EC-135 T1 G-SUFF from the West Midlands Police Air Support Unit in 1:32 scale This is a Revell kit (high skid version) modified to a T1 (older version) that was used by the Unit during 2010-2011. Its completey scratchbuilt inside the cabin area, the belly pod and FLIR pod and searchlight are also scratchbuilt and cast into resin. The instrument panel again a T1 version with the older dials and instruments was scratchbuilt and cast in resin. All decals are Parkes682Decals custom made decals, using my white inkjet to place white decals on to a dark blue paintwork then left overnight and yellow decals placed on top. Have a look

If it does, then it flew right over me at work today Hi Yes, it was but its the newer version G-POLA which is a EC-135 P2+ with low skids. Also my mate was in it as an police officer /observer he was on days that day,you should have given him a wave! G-SUFF no longer flies with West Midlands Police Air Support it was returned to Eurocopter when G-POLA was delivered "brand new". Hope this helps Paul

gary1701
I wondered what happened to that EC.135 as it used to be with the Suffolk (hence the registration) Police Air Support Unit that flies out of Wattisham. It was replaced by a newer model, G-SUFK a year or so ago that now also covers Norfolk as they've scrapped their own air support due to the budget cuts. Nice model. Nice model.Gary Hi Gary Yes, when G-WMAO was attacked by an arsonist West Midlands Police Air Support Unit managed to borrow G-SUFF for 18 months till G-POLA (brand new) was ready for delivery. G-SUFF was returned to Eurocopter,G-POLA now flies out of Birmingham Airport. The model G-SUFF now is in the West Midlands Police Air Support Unit Display Case at the Units Base at Birmingham Airport. Next year the Air Support celebrates its 25th Anniversary since it was set up 1987. Paul Parkes682Decals
