Brilliant!

You could have given it a bit of a wash and brush up first though ,

Kev1n will be having a right old moan :angrysoapbox.sml: if we don't all build them dirty now!

He will indeed, this particular plane was swapped into to Exeter so it could be washed as it's particularly dirty.

Mind you, some of the Q400's make this look spotless!

Dirty airliners...Tsk

Who would have thought it? Cue 'weathered' builds by the million!

Great pics by the way!

Fantastic pics Antony !

And just what I was looking for. By coincidence, I flew on this very same plane just a few weeks ago, Gatwick to Inverness and return. Very comfortable and smooth flight. I was rather surprised that the (northbound) flight level was 38,000 feet, particularly on a service lasting just over the hour (seemed quite high to me). Not sure what height the return service was as the Pilot didn't say !

I was originally looking forward to seeing the first of the smaller flyBe Emb 175s at my local airport (Guernsey) as the initial plan had been to introduce them into service on the Guernsey - Gatwick route, however that has now changed and I'm told we won't see them here until after our £80mil. runway improvement is completed.

I've got several of Kurt's (Authentic Airliners) superb 1/144 airliner kits already and the quality has to be seen to be believed. I've yet to get his Emb 195, but when I do I'll certainly be building it as flyBe - these photos will be a massive help !

Many thanks

Don.

Nice walkaround! I have the ROG ERJ-195 and am looking at Augsburg Air, is there a

walkaround showing detail for that livery? Also if I use window decals do I have to fill

the windows before hand? Will the decals sink too far into the cutouts in the mold. I

must admit I am lazy and don't feel like puttying 60 holes.---John

Filling windows is easy. You need a rope of Milliput and a knife.

777_build_1.jpg

Squish the Milliput into the window openings from the back

bop_3.jpg

Then trim off the bits which stick out and smooth it down with a wet fingertip. Total elapsed time: 5 minutes, which includes the time to mix the milliput.
