RAF Ground Vehicles - Any Books Available?

Anyone know any book available on RAF ground vehicles from WWII to present? I have the old Airfix magazine guide but is there anything more comprehensive?

And I vaguely remember a series in Airfix mag itself waaaaaay back - is my memory correct on that?

TIA!

Yes, "Wheels of the RAF" by Bruce Robertson. There's also a book with the same contents that sells second hand by outrageous prices.

Send me your e-mail, I have all the articles scanned.

I have a couple editions of a book called 'Encyclopedia of the modern Royal Air Force', the first was published around 1984, the second during the early 1990's. the rear of the books contain info, photos and 1/76 scale drawings of RAF Vehicles including Refuellers, Crash trucks, Tractors, Coaches, and a whole host of others. I can photocopy the relevent pages if you want.

Hello Paul, this book might be useful for some of the more specialist vehicles. A well illustrated history, no actual modelling content though.

Have you got both? They are different.

I have the 1984 edition - if you could scan the relevant pages of the other, I'd be most grateful.

Nice! I'll check Amazon over here.

Got the book stated, most of the Bomb trollies and armourer type stuff is seriously mis labelled in this tome, so it doesn't give me a warm feeling about the rest.

Some good photo's though.

Hi Carlos - if you are still on the Forum, would you kindly email me that set of articles too - I have about 3 of them (5,13 and 28), but no access to the rest. Email is [email protected]

Thanks in advance for the assistance
