Airfix Merlin

I see that in the current edition of Airfix Model World there is a pic of a Merlin test shot as shown at SMW. It looks very good and- if I remember correctly - should be available in the not too distant future.

Hi mate, I asked the question at the Airfix stand at Telford recently, and the chap there said next Autumn!!!!!! I am hoping that he might be wrong!!!!!!

Anyone else know if this is the case??

that was not a test shot as such but a rapid prototyping model.

The Merlin on the Airfix stand was made out of wax and as rightly pointed out above, was therefore not a test shot.

We'll have to wait a bit longer! I suspect it will be worth it if that example was anything to go by!
