DominikS Posted November 11, 2011 Share Posted November 11, 2011 Hi All I'm currently building I.R. Gleed's Spitfire Mk.Vb Trop. in 72nd scale, but I've a problem with wing tips. Oh yes, the chosen kit is Tamiya's Spit. Which tips should I use, as Tamiya gives two types - a "classical LF" version, and a bit longer. The picture below shows what I mean. I've seen a fwe pictures and sometimes I can see those longer (B on the picture) or "classical LF" (A on the picture). OK. My baby boy went sleeping so I can do some modelling. Cheers! Edgar Posted November 11, 2011 Share Posted November 11, 2011 It's likely to be "A," since the first clipped wingtips were just carved pieces of wood, without lights; later there were "custom-built" fatter items, complete with lights.
