Antoine
Another highly interesting item being readied for December is the Spitfire Mk.Vc in the Limited Edition line. The kit is being acquired from MPM, but will be released with a different wing than the original MPM kit and will include special Eduard bonuses, such as six-pipe late type exhaust, and, of course, large color PE frets and masking sheets. Eduard I'm not really fond of French markings, but if its the future boxart, it's cool enough for me. Also, if I remember well, Wing Cdr. Evan ‘Rosie’ Mackie used to fly a MkVc with the six-pipe exhaust. Wouldn't be surprised if its aircraft is included in the box. Well, it's a good news, that will help me to wait for the Lightning and the Jag.
Steven Eisenman
Same 'basic' kit as Special hobby and Classic Airframes. Eduard will probably load it up with etch and masks and increase the price quite a bit (or not?). The question is which prop Eduard will give us, or perhaps both. Now I never get thes correct, but I belive the SH prop is the DH (narrow blades) and the CA the rotol (broad blade) (or is it reversed?). Away from my Vc kit, cannot remember if both the early and late exhaust arrangement in the kit, At the end of the day, kit purchase would be based on prop and decals. Obi-Jiff Kenobi
Eduard state on their website that this kit will include a new wing. That intrigues me, I can't see any reason for changing the VC wing for a new tool of... a VC wing. Anyone have any ideas what it might entail? Antoine
Maybe they're just talking about clipped wings?
Obi-Jiff Kenobi
Maybe they're just talking about clipped wings? I did wonder, but in the MPM boxing at least, the wingtips are separate, and the clipped tips included on the clear sprue so you can leave the nav lights clear. Could just be a problem in translation I suppose.
