Mike
Justin, I wouldn't worry unduly mate. Sometimes people seem to miss threads entirely for some reason - I know I have missed a whole load of late through one reason or another. OK, 22 people had viewed it, but they might have consisted of a bunch of lurkers, so you'd hardly be expecting comments from them, would ya? I wouldn't let it get you down... I never wonder if anyone's interested in my WIP threads when I post them. Sometimes they are, sometimes they aren't... just carry on regardless. It's just as much fun to review your threads long after the models themselves are sitting gathering dust, as it's suprising what you forget about the process. AnonymousDFB1
Justin, sometimes some of my postings goes days without a comment, particularly if its not a mainstream aircraft. Eventually someone will find it then they come flooding in.

T-Tango
I think you just have to have a bit of patience Justin, we all luvs ya really, some of us oldies take a bit of time to getting round to reading the different threads. But one thing I do agree with you on, that Mike and the other Mods have created a brilliant forum.
Mike
Thanks guys, but we didn't create the bestness... we just made a series of virtual boxes for people to put things in, so it's the members that make it what it is
Nev
A 10:1 or 20:1 view to post ratio is not unusual.
Antoine
Hi Justin I ask myself the same question from time to time. And always give it the same answer: There's simply not enough time for everyone here to check in in every new posts. Taking my own exemple, when I star checking the forum nearly each day after coming back from work (At about 19h00), I go straight for the "view new posts" button. There are nearly everytime 4 to 5 pages of titles. Don't have enough time, so I read only the topics with something special in their titles that catch my attention, or something that I simply like. And I avoid topics with titles like "Question", and the likes, which means nothing to me at first. About your topics, I've seen it, but I don't really like 1/72 scale, so I don't feel like giving comments, as I don't practice myself. If you really want to "catch" peoples with your posts, may I give some tips??? (Thinking they're good tips, but anyone could think otherwise!) - Choose a good topic title (You did it well!) - Give as many commentary about your build in general and the kits used. - Put various pics in the topics, some overall view, and some close up. For example in your subject, I think we need close up for each of the side car, the half track and the gun. And a little sentence with each pics. And also, try to participate constructively in other topics, that way other guys will come along to see your topics, while telling themselves "Hey, he's right telling me this or that, but let's go seeing what can he do by himself". Well, I still don't really like 1/72 panzer, but i promise that I'll be the first to answer on your next topic about something in 1/35. And if i don't, the beer is on Mike. Cheers!! Greg B
I'll pass on your highlighted concerns to Mental. Hopefully that will make you feel better, if you ask him nicely he will even wear the bunny outfit for you. Dont worry about it matey, some of us dont get near a puter all day, some like me can't see pics because of security limitations at work and some just lurk. Better to have no comments than negative ones and it looks fine to me as a non-tread head type creature Mike and Mish Cheers fellahs, I was thinking nobody Loved me this morning, and I had put so much time and effort into this one I wanted to see what you all thoughtThe thread now has a good amount of replies and sometimes I can be a bit sensitive and this More often than not knocks my confidence, the standard of workmanship here often beggars belief and Mike I do believe you have created the best Modeling Forum I have seen Iam honoured and Proud to be classed as an "Old Hand" and an Improving wanna be Treadhead and Aircraft of course Thanks for everything :worthy:
