Stripping Acrylic Painted Models

Hi all

Does anyone know the best technique for stripping back acrylic paint after it's been covered by Johnsons's Klear. I have used Mr Muscle to remove "bare" paint and wondered if the same could be used post Klear.

Having brush painted my first Airfix B(I)8 and being less than happy with it I would like to "start again", this time with my airbrush which was used in anger for the first time last Tuesday.

Help and advice wuold be much appreciated.

Tony,

For 27p a bottle you could always try this method: Tescos value cleaner

I have to be honest, I havent tried it with Kleer or any varnish, but its worth a try and, if it works or not, could you add your comments to my Sticky please?

Many thanks Bex and Dave. I've got some of the Tesco stuff (we paid 34p - bugger!) so I'll give it a try and report.
