chadders
Firstly, sorry for no build photos, as my camera is mullered. But this is my Mk1 Spit built OOB. Painted with Humbrol enamals, kit decals (which were perfect by the way.......I can't understand all these complaints about the "new" Airfix decals, all the ones I've used have been fine), with arial wire made from the hair of my daughter Samantha!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The figure on the base is a white metal figure of unknown origin. Please excuse the picture quality, but Paul asked for some pictures to be posted so I used my camera phone, which isn't the best. Hope you like it. Mark

Red Arrow Jag
Oh, That look terrific! How was it to build, any good, I was thinking about getting a Tamiya Mk1 and the Airfix and combining the best of both...

AnonymousA667
Oh, That look terrific! How was it to build, any good I don't know about chadders, but I built one earlier this year and I found it OK. There are some things that could do with fixing - thick flying surfaces, thick transparencies, fin LE needs re-shaping and cockpit parts are clunky - but with a little bit of work it can be turned into a very nice replica of an early Spitfire. peebeep
