AnonymousDFB1 Posted October 8, 2008 Author Posted October 8, 2008 Well I've actually made a start! Not much of one, but a start. I airbrushed the fuselage halves yellow. The reason I've done it now rather than later is that I don't fancy masking the round windows!
Stebos Posted October 9, 2008 Posted October 9, 2008 Be careful with your seams with pre-painting yellow, I've ran into trouble with that with the MU2. Even a thin strip of filler shows through very easily with white or yellow being so transparent. You can't get a good coat of primer down very easily without repriming the whole thing. With hindsight the white milliput would have solved some some grief (possibly anyway, different shades of white become pretty noticable when shown together).

AnonymousDFB1 Posted October 11, 2008 Author Posted October 11, 2008 A bit done today. Slightly changed the shade of yellow, still not quite fight but I think she will have to stay that shade now. Note the scratch built spotlight mounts each side on the fuselage.
