Tigerausfb Posted September 24, 2008 Share Posted September 24, 2008 Popped by Duxford today and regrettably visited the new Aerospace hangar thing which I'd not seen the last time I was there in May. What a sterile, soulless, photography unfriendly place it is, it reminded me of a hospital for some reason. Awful architectural blandness. What is the point of hanging aircraft thirty feet up in the air where you can't see them properly. The bright lights of my otherwise very low opinion of Duxfords increasing 'tourist' direction in recent years (but it's great if you're a Duxford shortbread, Duxford marmalade and Duxford jam enthusiast) are the non-IWM exhibits Carolyn Graces ML407 I bleached some of the colour out in the top photo as I thought it looked a bit atmospheric.
