Hi all,

This poll is to decide which build is "Best of Show".

Each member can only give one vote .

Have a good look at the gallery.

Each model has a red number. This is also the order in the poll.

I have no way of knowing how you voted. But I call on "fair-play" not to vote for yourself.

Their will be a second-round poll in case of a tie.

Good luck to all.

The winner will be able to pick a prize from the donations first before the raffle. The winner also goes in the raffle.

Here's the Movie 109, a Hispano HA-1112 modified to the film specs. Wingtips squared off, obviously fake machine guns added above the cowling, propeller and spinner replaced with three bladed items, Tamiya 109 seat and etched harnesses used instead of the kit seat, exhausts and gun muzzles drilled out, and unit badges and serial numbers scrounged from a fellow BMer Smiffy.

Cheers,

Dean

And if you don't like Major Fohn's aircraft, maybe you'd prefer Red Two, one of his wingmen:

Here we go folks, the adversary to the film 109. The Spitfire flown by Simon in the famous "Taka taka taka taka" scene with Robert Shaw, AI*H serial N3317

It's a 1/48 Revell MkIX with several mods: Elevators dropped, seatbelts added from tape, rudder canted over and pushrod lengthened, tailwheel castored as after a hard right turn, access hatch opened and new door scratchbuilt, and decals from all over the place.

Revell 1/32 Stuka

Eduard PE set used, rivets and panel lines toned down and replaced where lost by sanding, paints used were Vallejo acrylics, and decals came from the kit and Erwin.

My take on OK 1 as flown by Keith Park in mid September 1940 as commander of 11 group.

The model is based on the one photograph of I have found of this aircraft with the information gaps being filled in with deductive ignorance.
