Storm Shadow's on Tornado.

Appology out of the way first .... whoever it was that emailed me asking about Storm Shadow pics, here are some from my recent invite to Marham. I have reduced them drastically in size because the originals are 2592 x 1944 and way too big to post on the forum. Let me know who you are again and I can try and email the originals to you if these are too small to use. That's the grovelling bit done ....

Something worth noting from a modelling/aesthetic view point (particularly the last pic of an overall view) are variations in tone/colour of some of the panels and airframe components, it would make a far more interesting look if replicated in model form instead of a blanket overall uniform colour.

Nice to see the Raptor pod :D

The very last boxings of Airfix's GR4 had Storm Shadows and a Raptor pod in - mind you, the Storm Shadows are completely inaccurate and crudely moulded! The RAPTOR pod is usable though it has very heavy and somewhat overdone panel lines. So aftermarket bits would be nice!

There are quite nice Storm Shadows in Revell's Typhoon kits, have not assembled any yet so cannot comment on accuracy as such, but they do 'look' the part.

Aye I've seen and built those, much better than the Airfix offerings!

Any chance of some Brimstones whilst you're pondering some Tornado weaponry? Also applicable to the Harrier and eventually Typhoon.
