hatchet
sotoolslinger! Love those bashes, seems it took quite a few kits to make the Warthog! Are those Genies on the F5V Hmm, one wonders how the F2V, F3V and F4V looked
sotoolslinger
Thanks ya'll Bex ,love you too. Hatchet, ummm not sure , and I'm pretty sure I scalorama'd them anyway . There is an underside pic. In the backstory this craft is set up for ASW. The starboard innermost pod ejects the rear half into the water, this consists of a remote controlled MAD unit which deploys a 100' antenna on a balloon. The front half of that pod contains depth charges. The starboard pod is the controller for the MAD unit , and a radar. The rockets contain no explosive but are very fast and have an armor piercing head for holing surface subs and ships.
sotoolslinger
As to the WARTHOG ,that's a Do 335 , P-40 nose , UMMMMM something something , jet engines. The earlier F-SOMETHING V may have looked like this (but didn't)
Alan P
Some call it madness, but it takes a certain artistry to dream this sort of stuff up, much less actually build them and make them look good! Tex, Al

GreenDragon
Great builds sotoolslinger, been lurking over at whatif for a while now and always check out your builds. I think my favourite is the twin engined Avenger/Skyrocket with the giant gun in the bombay you did a while ago. Paul Harrison
