falcon Posted August 1, 2008 Author Share Posted August 1, 2008 The Hurricane is completely ruined. I had used the Airfix decals (latest issue, and not very good either). Once they had been on 24 hours, I gave it a coat of Johnsons Klear. Once that was dry I sprayed it with a rattle can of Humbrol Matt Varnish. This has wrinkled the decals and therfore ruined the finish. I will now have to strip the Hurricane down to its primer using Fairey power spray, source a replacement decal sheet and repaint it.
