desmojen
Building one of these just now which is destined for the desk of a Sea King pilot. I have the Airwaves conversion set which includes a lyriad of lumps, bumps and boxes, but few of them are mentioned in the (very basic) instruction sheet..... Does anyone have some instructions or pointers? Also, what is the right colour? 241 green or something else? Jen.

desmojen
My humble aologies to Scottish rain. Either way, it is now my desktop image I have got all the resin bumps fitted now, it wasn't as bad as it looked in the end. I still have the DIRCM units and the flare pods to do which both have etched brass frameworks to fold up. I'll go up and do that after the racing Jen. desmojen
Ok, here's what she looks like so far, I need to make a couple more boxes for the nose, and of course none of the aerials are on yet. If there are any glaring omissions or errors can you point them out within the next day or so before I start painting it...? I could do with some decent shots/pointers for the underside too actually. entlim
does it give you a towel rail for the underside ot he ANLQ box stbd by the sponson brace?
Windy
Jen a quick thing. The chaff and flare buckets you have on back to front as the opening of the 'c' chape should be facing forward and they are place to far forward on the aircraft thay should be further back and lower down. If you look at the tai cone straight above the tail wheel you will see and small rectangualt cover, thay fit in there. Also if memory serves me right you only get 4 chaff and flare dispensers in the conversion kit and it should be 6 unless you are doing a early style fit. The M130 fit had 4 and M147 has six. Kyrre
That's an HAR5.................... Indeed. I just noticed that some of the bumps look quite similar. Army/Navy choppers really aren't my forte.
